Dreanor compared to the Outlands


So in the new announced Expansion we're going back in time to dreanor, which is Outland before the explosion caused by all the Portals Gul'dan has set up. And Garrosh isn't the only one, that has changed since. The maps also look a little different.

TYDKaWoW #012 | Blizzards early Kalimdor Design was totally different

Well, not totally totally, but there are a bunch of changes. You might have seen a few early design maps for World of Warcraft floating around without sources , but this is certifiably the real deal. During the BlizzCon 2014 and for the 10th birthday of World of Warcraft, Blizzard shared a bunch of pictures from the early days. You could only find them online as blurry pictures of the monitor. And then Dave Wilson, who works as Talent Attraction Guy for Blizzard, shared the originals on his twitter account.  And now it's double legit. So what are the differences, between this early concept and the final product, that was shipped to the players? I did a little painting to make comparing the early design map and actual release a little easier. Gold Guide | Farming Gnomeregan - 6,400G/hr

Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming Gnomeregan for Gold. The Instanceportal is Located in western Dun Morogh, but as a horde player you can use the teleporter located in Grom'gol. This porter makes the Instance really great to farm for Horde players, because you also get ported back there once you leave and have your mailbox and vendor right there. The alliance has to go into Gnomeregan, down the elevator and then take a left, once they have the choice, to find the instance portal. Inside we do, what no low level group should do. We take the parachute from the box located straight in front of the entrance, pull one of the Troggs, only the uninfected work for this, and jump down. On the bottom we pull the Viscous Fallout which is just circling behind us and then run straight across into the gnome tunnel. Mining Route | Adamantite & Korium Ore

We are farming on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This is the route we will be farming and it's not that hard to follow because there are only about 13 spawn points that respawn fast enough so you can just run around the isle over and over and over again. Since Khorium shares their spawn points with rich Adamantite you will also get this if you farm long enough. You won't have competition either because people only go on the isle for Sunwell Plateau or Magisters' Terrace. My result of 15 minutes farming: 74 Adamantite Ore (5.26G per) 24 Mote of Earth (0.52G per) 4 Eternium Ore (0.13G per at the vendor) 1 Shadow Draenite (13.5G per) 1 Deep Peridot (8.98G per) =1698.88 Gold/Hour I'm selling Eternium Ore because you most likely won't find a buyer for that. It has no really use ingame anymore; only a few recipes need it.
