Gold Guide | Farming Scholomance - 8,700G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Scholomance for Gold. The Instance is located on the Island in the middle of Western Plaguelands. Walk inside the building and turn left at the first chance, to open a door and find the Instanceportal. Inside we are greeted by two Skeleton guards, which we pull with us into the next room. Here you have to pull all mobs around the first encounter, because everything that isn't in fight before the encounter starts, dies without yielding any loot. The second room has a lot of mobs, but only the cultists and reanimated corpses give you loot. I run through the corridors, get the mobs and kill the boss at the end of the room so we can continue. The third room starts off with 6 Boneweavers scattered around it, which you have to kill in order to spawn the boss of the room. Room number four only contains trash, which I pull into the next room with Lilian Voss. The Meatgiants are very slow, but the Encounter also ta...

Gold Guide | Farming Uldaman - 9,600G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Uldaman for Gold. First off, the Instance is easier to access from the back entrance, since the cave is much shorter, which also makes running out and selling at this end much faster. I run Inside that entrance and make my first pull from there to the chamber of the final boss. I pull everything to the right and then turn left, so I can get the rest on the way back. Inside the boss chamber, you have to defeat four stone guards and then can continue to the endboss, which also needs to be activated. After defeating him, you can go into the treasure chamber behind him and get 2-3 free Greens. Then I head out and take the first left I can, into the stone guard part of the Instance. Head up the broken cave part and jump down. There are two chests close by, but I skip those, because they have been locked 4 out of 4 times I tried and also take about an extra 30seconds each, which I don't think is worth it.  You should ...

Gold Guide | Farming Maraudon - 14,600G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Maraudon for Gold. The Instance is located in western Desolace inside a huge Centaur-shaped mountain. There are three entrances to the Dungeon, one for each part. You go Inside the purple crystal part of the cave, jump of the bridge and do a 180°. Now you stand in front of a portal, which will bring you close to the end of the Instance and you can head back out. There are two paths you can take, but after testing both for 10 runs, I found that the southern one yields better results. The lower routes, the wicked grotto, has a lot more humanoid mobs, which drop a lot more Transmog items. The upper route, the Foulespore Cavern, has a lot more herbal creatures, which drop all sorts of herbs. The herbs of course sell a lot faster than Transmog, but I don't mind that extra few days for a lot more gold. One of the more expensive and faster selling sets to look out for, is the Ghostwalker-Set, of which nearly every pie...

Gold Guide | Farming Razorfen Kraul - 9,300G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Razorfen Kraul for Gold. The Instance is located in southern Southern Barrens. Once inside, you're going to notice, that this is one of the Instances, that got revamped with Warlords of Draenor. One of the new things you have to look out for, are trap wires on the ground. There is also the new system, where you have to kill the boss to progress, so we make our first stop at Kraulshaper Tukaar here and then continue. The next tunnel part has the first spawn location of the two treasure chests, that will always be in one run. To see all five spawn locations, watch the video below. Near the End of the Tunnel will be a root to the right, which you can use as a shortcut, to get on top of the right path way. At the end of it is the next boss, where we round of the next group of trash and kill them with the boss. You can now use the higher ledge on this part, to get across the drop with your glider onto the ...

Gold Guide | Farming Scarlet Monastery - 4,800G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Scarlet Halls for Gold. The Instance is located in Tirisfal Glades and the easiest way to get there as an alliance player is to use the portal to the blasted lands, fly to Grom'gol and take the first class seats on top of the Zepplin to Undercity. Once you reach the Monastery building, go in and head into the left Instance Portal. You can Mount up inside the instance, but the first few mob groups are fighting against Zombies; to get them we need to pull one of each group individually. Running through them with a mount won't work. I round them up in the crypt entrance behind the first boss and kill them, which opens up the door to the next part. There will still be zombies following you, because we haven't killed the Corpsepiles, but they give up after a bit in the monastery part. We pull both sides down here and then both sides on the upper level. I use one of the Corridor corners to line of s...

Gold Guide | Farming Scarlet Halls - 3,800G in 45min

Image
Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Scarlet Halls for Gold. The Instance is located in Tirisfal Glades and if you're now wondering how to get there the fasted way as an alliance player, just take the portal to blasted lands, fly to Grom'gol and take the Zeppelin opposite of the coast. Use the first class seats on top of the Zeppelin or otherwise you'll get attacked from the guards. The Zepplin will bring you to the Tirisfal Glades and the Scarlet Monastery is located in the north east of the zone. The scarlet halls instance is the right instance portal inside the monastery. Sadly you can't just run through the instance, because there are two little events stopping you from doing so. The first one is a group of Scarlet Hunters. You're supposed to grab one of the targets and run to the mobs. If you don't have a target the arrows will knock you back. You can do it this way, but it's very boring. So instea...

Gold Guide | Farming Gnomeregan - 6,400G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming Gnomeregan for Gold. The Instanceportal is Located in western Dun Morogh, but as a horde player you can use the teleporter located in Grom'gol. This porter makes the Instance really great to farm for Horde players, because you also get ported back there once you leave and have your mailbox and vendor right there. The alliance has to go into Gnomeregan, down the elevator and then take a left, once they have the choice, to find the instance portal. Inside we do, what no low level group should do. We take the parachute from the box located straight in front of the entrance, pull one of the Troggs, only the uninfected work for this, and jump down. On the bottom we pull the Viscous Fallout which is just circling behind us and then run straight across into the gnome tunnel. Here I jump up and down and taunt in between to get the mobs on both levels. At the circle part you take a right, because the way down is on ...

Gold Guide | Farming Blackfathom Deeps - 10,000G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming Blackfathom Deeps for Gold. The Instance is located in Ashenvale, hidden in an underwater cave on the zom'gor strand. The cave starts after diving into the pond formed on the bottom of the most northern building. The way through the cave is quite simple, which you'll have to take after about every two instance runs, to empty your bags. So you might want to put your heartstone at an Inn in Ashenvale. The one for the horde is right at the Strand and the nearest for the Alliance is in Astranaar.  Once you're inside you'll notice the instance got a revamp with wod. This introduced new mobs - and most of them now have a max follow range or just won't follow you inside or out of the water, meaning we have to stop a lot and kill single groups. This is also why you're free to use any profession you have. Normally I stay away from mining or herbing because it's mostly an extra stop, but since we...

Gold Guide | Farming The Stockade - 2,800G in 25min

Image
Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming The Stockade for Gold.  The Instance is located in Stormwind, which makes it harder for the Horde to get to, but not impossible. You'll need to vendor every four or five runs however, which would require you to kill the Guards in front of the Instance to mount your Vendor-mount. I don't know if the struggle is really worth it for the results you'll be getting from the Instance. If you're looking for an alternative Instance to farm wool cloth I'd recommend Shadowfang Keep . Now back the Stockades. Once you're inside you'll need to pull all the mobs out of there cells. The first two only hold Quest NPC's but everything after that is kill-able. I always run into one cell and target a mob of the opposite cell on my way out. You can then just taunt that complete cell and save some time. This however doesn't work on the last three cells surrounding Hogger.  The Elemental wing is a comple...

Gold Guide | Farming Shadowfang Keep - 7,500G/hr

Image
Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming Shadowfang Keep for Gold. The Instance is Located in southern Silverpine Forest and has a huge Storyline to it, which horde players can follow before even entering the Instance with Quest in the Zone. Sadly this also means, that we're affected by boring speeches that only slow us down. On the good side, the route I'm taking only contains one of the speeches. We start the Instance in a room full of Quest and Story NPC's. You then head into the right doorway and pull all the mobs up until the boss. Kill all the Trash before you go near the Boss. Once the Boss is dead the first Storypoint is reached and the Instance to this point fills with NPC's and the Trash will despawn. If you haven't looted/killed them yet - bad luck. Now we have to wait for one of the NPC's to open the door, which takes about 30seconds. This time can be used perfectly to disenchant Items from previous runs. After the doo...

Gold Guide | Farming Deadmines - 5,000G/hr

Image
Here are some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Deadmines for Gold. The Instance is located in Westfall, which makes it quite easy for the alliance the reach from Stormwind and it's only a short fly away from Grom'gol for the Horde. The Entrance is hidden in the most southern House in Moonbrook, where a hidden Cave starts on the second floor. This Cave has a few dead ends, but if you follow the train tracks you should find the Instance-Portal.  The first part of the Instance houses Questgivers and a Vendor (even for the horde). If you farm with an enchanter, you can stay in the Dungeon for 20+ runs since most Items that drop aren't transmog once and the Vendor of course takes all the Items not worth selling on the auction house.  A few other tips:  The Kobolds in the second room will come along, if you pull the ogres around them.  There are two always unlocked chests in the Instance. The first in the left Tunnel behind Glubtok and the second in...

Gold Guide | Farming Wailing Caverns - 15,000G/hr

Image
Sharing some more Information on my Wailing Caverns Video. It's linked on the bottom for those who haven't watched it yet. This is part of my new series, where I run through all dungeons, try to find the fastest and most profitable round and share my results. After Ragefire Chasm was a real Flop, the wailing Caverns were a very nice surprise. Nearly every second Item I got was a Transmog-Piece and I already got a good amount of gold from selling them. First I tried to run the complete dungeon, but the right wing only has a few spread out mobs that don't really drop a good amount of quality items but double the time you need for a run to about 15min. There are some plants which drop random herbs, but since they only drop one or two of a kind this becomes more of a bag filler than a gold maker. And because there is a wide range of mobs in the right wing, that each drop a certain array of greys to fill your bags up even quicker, I decided against running that part. ...

Gold Guide | Rugged Leather farming 1.300G in 25minutes

Image
Even though Onyxia's Lair is a level 80 Raid since 3.2.2, the Trash mobs can still be skinned for Rugged Leather. There are four Onyxian Warder in total located in the Raid and each has a 75% chance on 9-22 Rugged Leather and a 25% chance on 5-14 Rugged Hide . These chances are not affected by the Raid Difficulty (10 or 25man). If you  pull all trash mobs together, run back to the entrance with them, kill them in front of it, loot & skin and then run out, you'll need about 2.5 minutes or 150 seconds for one run. And since you can reset instances 10 times per hour, we can calculate the following: 1x Rugged Leather = 2.76G 1x Rugged Hide = 0.05G (vendor) 75% * 15.5x Rugged Leather + 25% * 9.5x Rugged Hide = 32.20G/Mob 4Mobs * 32.30G/Mob = 128.80G/Instance 128.80G/Instance * 10 Instances = 1288.00G for 10 Instances 2.5minutes/Instance * 10Instances = 25minutes for 10 Instances = 1288.00G in 25 minutes This might not be the most Gold you can do, but ...

Holiday Gold Guide | Disenchanting Christmas

Image
I haven't posted it here, so i do it now. It's a Holiday Gold Guide i discovered a few years back. We're going to disenchant Gaudy Winter Veil Sweater s, which you can buy for 22 Copper from winterveil vendors in each major city. Yes, these Vendor sold Greens are unlimited and can be disenchanted. Disenchants per Hour: 1x Disenchanting = 1.5sec/Item 3600sec / 1.5sec/Items = 2400Items 100x disenchants yield: 127x Strange Dust = 228.60G 6.3x Greater Magic Essence = 24.63G = 2.53G/Item Gold per Hour: 2400Items * 2.53G/Items = 6072G/Hour Cost = 2400Items * 0.0022G = 5.28G = 6066G/Hour Keep in mind that the prices are currently going down, because a lot of people already know an use this method, but they will rise again and since the materials now stack to 200 it's easy to hold on to them for a bit. I did this last year and the prices dropped very low, but two months later in february I got lucky and sold my remaining Stacks for 6G/Dust. I...

Tailoring Gold Guide | Vendoring Capes - 3,000 G/hr

Image
Mist of Pandaria is coming to an end, and the prices for all mats of the expansion are going to drop, because everyone wants to get rid of their soon to be useless mats. We're going to take an advantage of that, not by stacking up and waiting for prices to get better, but with tailoring the most profitable item and vendoring it. What we need most of all is the Recipe to craft a profitable item. The best Item is the  Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Cloak of Prowess , but every  "Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's"-Backslot Item  works fine. You have a chance to learn the Recipe with creating " Imperial Silk ". This only works with the daily Cooldown Version of getting it though, and not  Song of Harmony . The Second thing we need, is Windwool Cloth. Either in their raw form or in bolts, which are sometime cheaper. You need 20 Cloth (4 Bolts) to create one cape and that means we are neutral, if we pay 0.85G/Cloth (3.40G/Bolt) with the most expensive Cloak and do...
