Gold Guide | Farming Deadmines - 5,000G/hr

Here are some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Deadmines for Gold.

The Instance is located in Westfall, which makes it quite easy for the alliance the reach from Stormwind and it's only a short fly away from Grom'gol for the Horde. The Entrance is hidden in the most southern House in Moonbrook, where a hidden Cave starts on the second floor. This Cave has a few dead ends, but if you follow the train tracks you should find the Instance-Portal. 

The first part of the Instance houses Questgivers and a Vendor (even for the horde). If you farm with an enchanter, you can stay in the Dungeon for 20+ runs since most Items that drop aren't transmog once and the Vendor of course takes all the Items not worth selling on the auction house. 

A few other tips: 

The Kobolds in the second room will come along, if you pull the ogres around them. 
There are two always unlocked chests in the Instance. The first in the left Tunnel behind Glubtok and the second in the niché after Foe Reaper 5000. 

The two neutral mobs in the tunnel behind Helix Gearbreaker are the only mobs ingame to have a chance on two pieces of the Defias Leather set, which sell for a nice amount of Gold. You can actually farm these.


To activate Foe Reaper 5000 you need to kill the four mobs in front of him and after that it'll take a few seconds. You can use that time to open the two Box of Assorted Parts, which contain low level engineering mats of which some sell for a nice amount of Gold. 
You can teleport back to the second Boss with a Teleporter located at the start of the wooden structure, that leads to the last bosses. 

I did ten runs of the Instance with the perfect run taking me seven minutes but the most once closer to eight. I calculated the following with a time of seven minutes and thirty seconds.

Mining Route | Adamantite & Korium Ore

We are farming on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This is the route we will be farming and it's not that hard to follow because there are only about 13 spawn points that respawn fast enough so you can just run around the isle over and over and over again. Since Khorium shares their spawn points with rich Adamantite you will also get this if you farm long enough. You won't have competition either because people only go on the isle for Sunwell Plateau or Magisters' Terrace. TYDKaWoW #022 | Arathi Basin is based on Atari Fanart from Jeffrey Kaplan

Even though the Atari 2600 games were already outdated when the development for World of Warcraft began, Jeffrey Kaplan still seemed to be a fan of them. Or at least his coworkers thought that when he presented his design proposal for the second PvP zone. Blizzard actually shared this historical artwork and the story behind it  for the 10 year celebration of World of Warcraft . And I must say that compared next to the minimap of the final product, not much seems to have changed from the initial pitch. The only visible difference is the position of the gold mine and the lumber mill moving closer to the center. If I was asked to draw the Arathi Basin map today, I would have drawn something very similar. "This was the entire 'design' for Arathi Basin. I made that map instead of going to E3 one year. TYDKaWoW #010 | You can see Azeroth from the Black Temple

I almost never look up in game. I have been a bunch of times in the Black Temple. I have been enough times in the Black Temple to get myself a pair of Warglaives of Azzinoth . But I never noticed, that you can actually see Azeroth in the sky. Every part of the raid, that takes place outside, you can just look up, and there the orb is. But why can we see it? Outlands and Azeroth isn't supposed to be so close to each other. If that were the case, we should be able to see it from anywhere in the Outlands? Well we got the lore explanation in a twitter thread, that started with the question, if Draenor and Azeroth are in the same solar system. The answer is no, they aren't. The answer to our question then still remains, but was answered a few tweets below. This wasn't answered by Blizzard directly, but the answer has been certified with a like from Ex-Lead Narrative Designer Dave Kosak. @useless740 @DaveK
