Holiday Gold Guide | Selling Cake during Children's Week

The Children 's Week is starting the following Monday and with a little preparation we can make a nice Profit of the Achievement-Hunters.

We're going to sell them the sweets they'll need for the Achievement Bad Example. There are 7 in total of which 5 can be bought and 2 are made with cooking.

  • Recipe - Inside the Questreward for the Cooking Daylie in Shattrath (Questgiver = The Rokk) or Dalaran (Questgiver Horde = Awilo Lon'gomba | Questgiver Alliance = Katherine Lee) The Recipe has a very high chance to be contained for those who can't make it yet. You should be able to get it before the Event starts.

  • Recipe - Drops of any Northrend Mob, just farm a few Heroics or do a Raid
It is important, that you put the Auction up before the Event starts/during the beginning. The Cakes will start the Event at a price of above 500Gold and drop within the first two Days down to about 50Gold.

Mining Route | Adamantite & Korium Ore

We are farming on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This is the route we will be farming and it's not that hard to follow because there are only about 13 spawn points that respawn fast enough so you can just run around the isle over and over and over again. Since Khorium shares their spawn points with rich Adamantite you will also get this if you farm long enough. You won't have competition either because people only go on the isle for Sunwell Plateau or Magisters' Terrace. My result of 15 minutes farming: 74 Adamantite Ore (5.26G per) 24 Mote of Earth (0.52G per) 4 Eternium Ore (0.13G per at the vendor) 1 Shadow Draenite (13.5G per) 1 Deep Peridot (8.98G per) =1698.88 Gold/Hour I'm selling Eternium Ore because you most likely won't find a buyer for that. It has no really use ingame anymore; only a few recipes need it. Legendary | Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian

For my last Video, a Mount Guide for the Fiery Warhorse , i came on the Idea to show off Atiesh. This legendary can summon a Portal directly to Karazhan, where the mount drops. I have seen the Items a few times ingame and didn't thought it would be hard to find a Person who has it on such high populated realms as Outland or Blackrock, but it was. After a two hours of searching in Tradechat and a lot of whispers asking me if that Legendary was fake like all the other legendary Items that get posted in Tradechate, I started stalking people through Power of Google and the Armory. Lucky me the fifth hit or something was an Article about the Guild Borked who just (9. November'06) got their third one of these. There are still two people in this Guild with the Staff, which are actively playing and raiding in wod. I got hold of Fs  and they helped me with my Video. I love simple math, as you can tell from the calculations below. So i wanted to make this Guide, because I had so much Runecloth from my BWL Trash | Gold Guide  and I didn't wanted to flood the market with all the cloth and also thought I could make more money. You can see the three best Methods I found during my research below and all the calculations, which contain average prices from theunderminejournal . For all three methods you will be needing Tailoring and Enchanting. I disenchanted 100 of all the Gear pieces below to get an average. All Gear made is learned from the Trainer. TYDKaWoW #022 | Arathi Basin is based on Atari Fanart from Jeffrey Kaplan

Even though the Atari 2600 games were already outdated when the development for World of Warcraft began, Jeffrey Kaplan still seemed to be a fan of them. Or at least his coworkers thought that when he presented his design proposal for the second PvP zone. Blizzard actually shared this historical artwork and the story behind it  for the 10 year celebration of World of Warcraft . And I must say that compared next to the minimap of the final product, not much seems to have changed from the initial pitch. The only visible difference is the position of the gold mine and the lumber mill moving closer to the center. If I was asked to draw the Arathi Basin map today, I would have drawn something very similar. "This was the entire 'design' for Arathi Basin. I made that map instead of going to E3 one year. Gold Guide | Locations of all Vendor Recipes

I made an Addon to Guide you to all the BoE Recipes. Nicornvendors . It works with TomTom and displays the Recipe Name under the Waypoint Arrow, sometimes even with a little note to guide you. The Waypoints were chosen on how accessible they are, so we only get each recipe one time in the easiest location for it. I hope you like the addon. Change the Waypoint so you can start where you want.  The Waypoint will always point toward the same after set up (e.g. Daleohm - Plans: Frostguard in Kalimdor) - to change that right click on the point you want and then "Set as waypoint arrow". 2021/01/01 - The addon is outdated. As I'm no longer playing the game, I won't fix it. But I found the original excel table, which I used to collect the data. And I turned them into tomtom waypoints, so you can use these instead.  These Waypoints only contain the name of the vendor and not the recipe names. Just put them in a macro.
