Gold Guide | Farming Scarlet Halls - 3,800G in 45min

Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Scarlet Halls for Gold.

The Instance is located in Tirisfal Glades and if you're now wondering how to get there the fasted way as an alliance player, just take the portal to blasted lands, fly to Grom'gol and take the Zeppelin opposite of the coast. Use the first class seats on top of the Zeppelin or otherwise you'll get attacked from the guards. The Zepplin will bring you to the Tirisfal Glades and the Scarlet Monastery is located in the north east of the zone. The scarlet halls instance is the right instance portal inside the monastery.

Sadly you can't just run through the instance, because there are two little events stopping you from doing so. The first one is a group of Scarlet Hunters. You're supposed to grab one of the targets and run to the mobs. If you don't have a target the arrows will knock you back. You can do it this way, but it's very boring. So instead you could also just use whatever boosts you have and try to kill the commander, or even easier; send your pet to kill him. Once he is dead, the arrows stop.

Behind him we pull the groups in the left and right corridor and then the last group in front of Houndmaster Braun, who we kill after that. Then we kill the guards in front of the armory entrance along with the trash we pulled, loot them and wait for t invisible wall to despawn while the dogs eat the boss. Now it's just pulling everything up to the endboss Flameweaver Koegler.

I skip Armsmaster Harlan, because he's only worth around one gold and you can't pull him out of his room because the door closes once you pull. So you'd either have to wait for him to get to you or jump down into his pit and then run back up.

Once we killed Koegler and the trash, you shouldn't forget to pick up the gold from the treasurers. Each pile is worth around 1 Gold and because there are always 5 of them it increased the direct gold for around 50 Gold in total. On our way back we kill the three groups of canoneers for some extra greens and cloth and loot Houndmaster Braun.

A run like this takes between 4 and 5 minutes depending on how fast you can do the flaming arrow event. That means waiting time for you, if you decide to farm this dungeon, so you might as well kill armsmaster Harlan for a chance on the scarlet tabard. Keep in mind though, that he drops the old version and not the new ones, that most of the trash in this dungeon have. Ten runs gave me the following:
