Gold Guide | Locations of all Vendor Recipes

Image
I made an Addon to Guide you to all the BoE Recipes. Nicornvendors . It works with TomTom and displays the Recipe Name under the Waypoint Arrow, sometimes even with a little note to guide you. The Waypoints were chosen on how accessible they are, so we only get each recipe one time in the easiest location for it. I hope you like the addon. Change the Waypoint so you can start where you want.  The Waypoint will always point toward the same after set up (e.g. Daleohm - Plans: Frostguard in Kalimdor) - to change that right click on the point you want and then "Set as waypoint arrow". 2021/01/01 - The addon is outdated. As I'm no longer playing the game, I won't fix it. But I found the original excel table, which I used to collect the data. And I turned them into tomtom waypoints, so you can use these instead.  These Waypoints only contain the name of the vendor and not the recipe names. Just put them in a macro. There is/was an addon that allows you to make macros with...

Opening | 100x Thorium Lockbox

Image
You get Thorium Lockboxes  from Mobs lvl 45-60 and they can contain about everything mobs of that level range could drop. Of course only green, rare or epic loot (except this bag ) and you'll get 1-3 Items out of one. You need Lockpicking skill 225 for them so any rogue lvl 45+ or a Engineer/Blacksmith with the right item can open it. This is what I got out of 100: 61x Transmog Gear (300.62G per) 29x Disenchant Items (25.31G per) 6x Vendor Items (9.78G) 6x Recipes (~25G per) 2x  Traveler's Backpack (49.82G per) 2x Star Ruby (5.60G per) 1x Aquamarine (4.14G per) =192.47G per Lockbox Without Transmog and disenchant instead =24.53G per Lockbox Don't forget to get the Glyph of Pick Lock  if you want to open as many as I did - I stood over 8minutes there just picking locks....

Mining Route | Adamantite & Korium Ore

Image
We are farming on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This is the route we will be farming and it's not that hard to follow because there are only about 13 spawn points that respawn fast enough so you can just run around the isle over and over and over again. Since Khorium shares their spawn points with rich Adamantite you will also get this if you farm long enough. You won't have competition either because people only go on the isle for Sunwell Plateau or Magisters' Terrace. My result of 15 minutes farming: 74 Adamantite Ore (5.26G per) 24 Mote of Earth (0.52G per) 4 Eternium Ore (0.13G per at the vendor) 1 Shadow Draenite (13.5G per) 1 Deep Peridot (8.98G per) =1698.88 Gold/Hour I'm selling Eternium Ore because you most likely won't find a buyer for that. It has no really use ingame anymore; only a few recipes need it. You can also vendor the blue gems because when you have the jewelcrafting skill to use them you can also start using northrend green gems so nobody will ...

TYDKaWoW #010 | You can see Azeroth from the Black Temple

Image
I almost never look up in game. I have been a bunch of times in the Black Temple. I have been enough times in the Black Temple to get myself a pair of Warglaives of Azzinoth . But I never noticed, that you can actually see Azeroth in the sky. Every part of the raid, that takes place outside, you can just look up, and there the orb is. But why can we see it? Outlands and Azeroth isn't supposed to be so close to each other. If that were the case, we should be able to see it from anywhere in the Outlands? Well we got the lore explanation in a twitter thread, that started with the question, if Draenor and Azeroth are in the same solar system. The answer is no, they aren't. The answer to our question then still remains, but was answered a few tweets below. This wasn't answered by Blizzard directly, but the answer has been certified with a like from Ex-Lead Narrative Designer Dave Kosak. @useless740 @DaveK...

TYDKaWoW #004 | The Scarlet Monastery was a single Instance

Image
Scarlet Commander Mograine. (©World of Warcraft Trading Card Game) We all still know, how the four scarlet Instances looked, back before Mist of Pandaria. We had the Graveyard, Armory, Cathedral and the Library. Each only featuring one to three Bosses, which at the time of it's release was quite a low amount in comparison. With the revamp the Graveyard and Cathedral were combined into the Monastery and the Armory and Library in the Scarlet halls, both having three Bosses. But this actually wasn't the first revamp. During the WoW Alpha, the Scarlet Monastery was one dungeon, combining all the four Dungeons we got during Vanilla. But was changed before release. Dungeon Map for the original single dungeon layout. Starting in the Halls of Visitors, which now holds the Instanceportals and some non-elite mobs, leading into the Garden part, where old Houndmaster Loksey was located. Then you'd encounter Herod in his usual Hall of Heros, which featured a few more statues and a...
