TYDKaWoW #007 | The Toy Train Set bullied Blizzard into a Hotfix



It's the 13th November of 2014. You've just started your first job and have your first day off. It's for the release of Warlords of Draenor, because why not. You don't have any better reasons to take your vacation days.

You log in, there are some bugs and a bunch of people fighting over mobs. Maybe starting on release day isn't so much fun? You get far enough in the questline to finally get your own Garrison.

Everything stops.

Phasing is broken.

Everyone is inside your person Garrison.

You're not bother about it very much so, because you have some nice music blasting.

Quickly are able to move on to other quests. But others don't have that luxury.

Hundreds of people are stuck in the same spot and try out their toys, which are now available in the new toy box. And one of them is the Toy Train Set. Fun little train. With a fun little effect. People around it, will be forced to emote /train, imitating a train sound. And if you have your sound on. That's hundreds of people doing it at once. Nice. If you're playing with your ingame sound, not only are you stuck and can't go any further now, because the quest is required to progress, but people are basically taunting you.


This got to such a point, that Blizzard hat to push out a change, with the next Hotfix.

There are always so many issues at the start of a new expansion. A tiny toy train set bullying big blizzard so much, it became a major issue, that had to be addressed immediately, kind of funny.

Mining Route | Adamantite & Korium Ore

We are farming on the Isle of Quel'Danas. This is the route we will be farming and it's not that hard to follow because there are only about 13 spawn points that respawn fast enough so you can just run around the isle over and over and over again. Since Khorium shares their spawn points with rich Adamantite you will also get this if you farm long enough. You won't have competition either because people only go on the isle for Sunwell Plateau or Magisters' Terrace. My result of 15 minutes farming: 74 Adamantite Ore (5.26G per) 24 Mote of Earth (0.52G per) 4 Eternium Ore (0.13G per at the vendor) 1 Shadow Draenite (13.5G per) 1 Deep Peridot (8.98G per) =1698.88 Gold/Hour I'm selling Eternium Ore because you most likely won't find a buyer for that. Gold Guide | Farming Maraudon - 14,600G/hr

Here is some Information for you, if you're thinking about farming Maraudon for Gold. The Instance is located in western Desolace inside a huge Centaur-shaped mountain. There are three entrances to the Dungeon, one for each part. You go Inside the purple crystal part of the cave, jump of the bridge and do a 180°. Now you stand in front of a portal, which will bring you close to the end of the Instance and you can head back out. There are two paths you can take, but after testing both for 10 runs, I found that the southern one yields better results. The lower routes, the wicked grotto, has a lot more humanoid mobs, which drop a lot more Transmog items. The upper route, the Foulespore Cavern, has a lot more herbal creatures, which drop all sorts of herbs. The herbs of course sell a lot faster than Transmog, but I don't mind that extra few days for a lot more gold. Legendary | Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian

For my last Video, a Mount Guide for the Fiery Warhorse , i came on the Idea to show off Atiesh. This legendary can summon a Portal directly to Karazhan, where the mount drops. I have seen the Items a few times ingame and didn't thought it would be hard to find a Person who has it on such high populated realms as Outland or Blackrock, but it was. After a two hours of searching in Tradechat and a lot of whispers asking me if that Legendary was fake like all the other legendary Items that get posted in Tradechate, I started stalking people through Power of Google and the Armory. Lucky me the fifth hit or something was an Article about the Guild Borked who just (9. November'06) got their third one of these. Gold Guide | Farming Gnomeregan - 6,400G/hr

Here is some Information for you if you're thinking about farming Gnomeregan for Gold. The Instanceportal is Located in western Dun Morogh, but as a horde player you can use the teleporter located in Grom'gol. This porter makes the Instance really great to farm for Horde players, because you also get ported back there once you leave and have your mailbox and vendor right there. The alliance has to go into Gnomeregan, down the elevator and then take a left, once they have the choice, to find the instance portal. Inside we do, what no low level group should do. We take the parachute from the box located straight in front of the entrance, pull one of the Troggs, only the uninfected work for this, and jump down. On the bottom we pull the Viscous Fallout which is just circling behind us and then run straight across into the gnome tunnel.
